Public Transporation Near The Terraces

Whether you’re living at Vista Terrace, Oak Terrace, Walnut Terrace, or one of our other three Walnut Creek apartments, commuting using public transportation is a breeze.

The Walnut Creek BART Station is less than a five-minute drive, less than a 10-minute bike, and less than a 20-minute walk from your front door. BART’s Northbound train heads to Pittsburg/Bay Point, while the Southbound train’s final stop is the San Francisco International Airport. Both lines stop at the Walnut Creek station every 15 minutes during the weekday and every 20 minutes during the weekend. The station is also a hub for the County Connection bus line that serves various destinations throughout Walnut Creek and cities in Central Contra Costa County.
 
Getting around the downtown area is easy. The City of Walnut Creek, in partnership with County Connection, supports several free transportation services for residents and visitors, all of which are accessible from The Terraces. 
 

The Route 4 Downtown Trolley operates seven days a week out of the Walnut Creek BART Station, providing complimentary hop-on, hop-off service. Near our apartments in Walnut Creek, CA you'll find a host of shopping, restaurant, and entertainment options! Bus service is available every 15 minutes.
 
The Route 5 Creekside/Walnut Creek BART runs during weekday hours, serving destinations along California Boulevard, South Main Street, and Creekside Drive, such as Kaiser Hospital - Walnut Creek, Las Lomas High School, and additional locations downtown.
